How can I play Football with agression?
Q. I want to play football, but I just don't have that kind of agression. I want to play at school with my friends, like I had the ball coming straight at me, and I don't catch it because my mind tells me to stay out of the way, but I want to get in the way of the ball. And when the people start running around, I try to intercept, but I'm too short. What should I do?

Why does my pup show agression in the car?
Q. My 3 month old puppy, was going to the vet for the last time 6 days ago for his last set of shots. I noticed other time previous to that trip, he was starting to become more crazy in the car. I took him in my lap, and took a toy for him. Once i put my hand on him, he would bite bark and would show major agression. He tried to bite very very hard. Then once we got to the vet, he was my good little boy, on the ride back home, again the biting, it was terrible (he was in my lap during both trips), we got home and he acts as if nothing happend and all is well. So i came to the conclusion that he is not a car dog. Is that the case, he just has fear in the car? I decided next time he has to go into the car, he will be put in his crate,… [cont.]

A. First - it's a really bad idea to put a dog in your lap while driving. It's a hazard to everyone else on the road, to your self and the dog. The dog - even one that isn't going crazy is a major distraction. Put the dog in the back and keep him there while driving. When he's showing aggression don't show him any attention. If you coddle, sooth, pet, coax, etc you're just egging him on. You're telling him that behavior is acceptable. If you scold, swat, or hit your dog your showing him negative attention and aggression breeds aggression. Put him in the car give a treat. Give him a toy that will keep him occupied - a kong full of treats and thats it. There are crates you can purchase for you car and that would be a great option too.… [cont.]

Does getting a puppy neutered help with agression?
Q. I realize that all my questions are about my dog, but I'm a first time dog owner and I just want what's best for him. So as i've stated before, my puppy has been showing some food and toy agression. Will getting him fixed help with this at all???
Asked by nicole m - Thu Dec 6 23:09:11 2007 - - 17 Answers - 0 Comments

A. It can help with dog aggression, it can help with roaming, and marking in the house, and it can help with him freaking when girls come into heat.. but it will not help him to be a calm and sweet little dog.. The only thing that will do that is training... Neutering is a health thing, it will stop him from developing testicular cancer, and it will stop him from being aggressive towards other male dogs ( if you train ) but it's not going to stop him from being food aggressive or toy aggressive.. These are things you have allowed / encouraged and you have to control and train him out of.

What was hitler's motivations in making the non-agression deal with Poland?
Q. What was hitler's motivations in making the 10 year non-agression deal with Poland? Poland had been given more German territory than any other country. So this deal was very suprising. I just need to know what his motivations were.
Asked by unknown - Tue May 19 19:38:10 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. "Poland had been given more GERMAN territory than any other country" ??? Poland didn t get ANY German territory after WWI but just regained their OWN land that was stolen by Prussia in the end of the 18th century. Before the invasion of Poland Hitler wanted it became German ally in the diplomatic way. Countries like Hungary, Finland, Romania and few others were on the German side so why Poland couldn't have been? This way Hitler not only could save some army and weapon instead of using it in the war with Poland but also could have an ally against the USSR and could have safe east borderer before the invasion of the Western Europe.

violence can lead to long lasting agression?
Q. how can violence in a video game lead to agression? what affects can they have on the mind and the persons social life?
Asked by Soccer Player WoOt!!!! - Tue Jan 15 20:39:19 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Yes violence is a long lasting aggression. Violence in TV today has desensitized [have you ever noticed the "painless" murders/injuries] people, and made it almost "acceptable" and normal. Also, violent people are usually considered the "good guys" in TV/video games. Violence in TV is correlated with increased aggression--however, that does not imply causation. It is possible to curb aggression, however.

A. When guests arrive take the dog out to meet them in the street before coming into the house. altogether. He will feel alot more confortable having seen you go to them rather than them come to you.

What can I do about this agression issue?
Q. Today my dog met another dog at the dog park. They are about the same age and same breed, both unaltered. The other dog growled and started to attack my dog. My dog did not understand and thought he was playing so at first he tried to play with him, kept following him around and trying to play but everytime he got close the other dog would attack. I think my dog started to understand that he was not playing but instead of leaving him alone he started to fight back, bare his teeth and such. Neither dog has ever shown aggression before. Can anything be done about these boys?

A. Getting them fixed would be a good start. They are probably trying to show their dominance. Fixing them would do the trick. Good luck

What can be done to stop government funding of Israeli expanionalism and agression in the Middle East?
Q. We could trim government spending if we cut off Israel all together. We could also gain support and win back the hearts and minds of Arab countries if we stopped monetary and military aid to one of the richest and most powerful nations in the world. Diplomacy always wins over war and tyranny. War is only a result of failure of diplomacy, unless you are an astute follower of Machiavellism.

A. I think the first obstacle is educating people about the threat of Zionism, and the fact that it is not religious nor is criticizing it racist. Unfortunately, a LOT of people are so deep into denial about any possible wrongdoing by Zionists they refuse to see it.

what do you think about the agression of Russia on Georgia?
Q. Is there is any chance to go back to the age of cold war between the super powers or there is any new global political equation is going to be evolved.
Asked by williams - Sun Sep 28 01:56:08 2008 - - 9 Answers - 0 Comments

A. No, a cold war cannot start over an insignificant country like Georgia. At any rate, if anything of that sort should happen, Georgia would be like the Serbian Black Hand gang that started WWI, seemingly the reason but actually merely a trigger. Besides, Georgia isn't a poor, little victim of Russian aggression. Some Georgians argue it is not an aggression on their part, but only an operation within their own borders but I ask, according to whom were those borders drawn? According to Dzhugashvili, so why on earth would we have to stick to those borders today? Ossetia and especially Abkhazia has never been 'Georgian land', so there was no reason for stupid Saakashvili to hop on the swift, sweet American ride and most idiotically attack… [cont.]

Why is the Civil War called the Civil War or the War Against Northern Agression when it is neither?
Q. It was a southern revolution, not really any different than the American Revolution in 1775. The Southern states were fighting for their independence. Civil wars are fought for power within a country, not to divide them. It was not necessarily northern Agression as the South attacked forts held by the Union army, which even if you recognize souther succession, this was sovereign Union territory.
Asked by brewers07 - Sat May 12 01:07:18 2007 - - 8 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Your theory is correct, if you are looking at it from a Confederate perspective. Civil wars are not necessarily fought to gain total power of a country, secession from a country can also constitute grounds for a civil war if the combatants are from the same nation, originally. The U.S. was a soverign nation. Everyone was under one flag. When the South decided to secede from the Union, it was worded exactly that way. When conflict arose out of that decision, as initiated by the South, that was definitely an insurrection, and thus resulted in civil war. The South propagandized the affair as the "War Against Northern Aggression", just as the North propagandized it as the "War Against Southern Rebellion." It's just a matter of the… [cont.]

A. Food aggression versus resource guarding is very difficult to determine. Dogs do not share food. The dominant pack dog will eat first and will eat its share before yielding to the next dominant dog. All dogs should be fed from their own bowl separated from each other until all are finished. All food, bones, toys, etc belong to you. Each and every dog in your house should completely yield whatever it has to you whenever you ask them too with no tenseness, growling or other displays of agression/dominance. If you can't do this with any of your dogs, there is a dominance problem in your pack, namely you are not alpha. Up until about six months of age, puppies have a "permit" to get away with just about any behavior which is probably… [cont.]

What to do if feeling there's no middle ground between shyness and agression?
Q. I guess the thought came up today during work, on why i don't state my views with any aggression. What I've realized is i don't feel i have a middle ground, like i have to keep my views reserved cause whenever i do state them i just won't quit til i either i win the argument or verbally pick an argument. I guess i've come to the mindset it's better to stay silent and never say anything is better than to go off. Though, i guess i see the danger in that too, since history's shown the danger with those who keep things bottled in. (yes, has tried various forms of mental health without success and realize i've got to explore a different type of option though unsure what). A. Is this at a dog park or are they friends dogs? A lot of times dogs react to our reactions. If you are near he may be defending you, try to step back when they are interacting. Try to walk away and let them interact. Dogs have their own language. Mine will dominate one who is displaying submissive behavior (laying on back, croutching down, tail tucked) and become aggressive when a dog is acting dominate (other dog tries to hump them or put a paw on their back). They will work it out, as long as they are not potentially going for blood or the neck. Mine also have an infatuation with certain breeds. Boxers will not leave them alone (they are chiahuahua's, size doesn't matter) most of the ones that come to the park aren't fixed. It… [cont.]
