Im doing a betta fish experiment and i was wondering if ph level will affect agression?
Q. Im doing a betta fighting fish experiment where multiple fish living in different ph zones will be allowed to see each other and i will monitor their level of agression. Will the ph level affect their aggression? And what are some good ways of lowering and raising ph levels? What materials will i need to raise/lower ph level? Can i buy a cheap ph reader at a pet store? no silly answers!

Sreeshant type Behaviour? Can anyone really condone such overt screaming and shouting as Natural Agression?
Q. Is the type of Behaviour shown by Sreeshant really justifiable? Can the screaming & ranting and tantrums thrown by him really be called natural agression??? I feel positively embarassed every time he gets into his act on the pitch. Should he not be curbed?

violence can lead to long lasting agression?
Q. how can violence in a video game lead to agression? what affects can they have on the mind and the persons social life?
Asked by Soccer Player WoOt!!!! - Tue Jan 15 20:39:19 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Yes violence is a long lasting aggression. Violence in TV today has desensitized [have you ever noticed the "painless" murders/injuries] people, and made it almost "acceptable" and normal. Also, violent people are usually considered the "good guys" in TV/video games. Violence in TV is correlated with increased aggression--however, that does not imply causation. It is possible to curb aggression, however.

A. Yes, it can, both because of the actual physical injury, which can result in alterations in brain function, but also because of the stress and other emotions involved in dealing with a major injury.

A. I believe it to be a natural feeling once you hit a certain age, you reach a point in your life where you almost feel obligated to challenge them just to prove yourself. But this often gets misconstrued as a feeling of anger, I think you need to voice your feeling of disapproval's so that they are in the open and to make sure that boundaries are not over stepped and you do not act physically upon any feelings in a way you might regret. Live and let live.

How bad is dog agression on a Tosa Inu?
Q. I know a lot of people are gunna ask, so yes I am experienced enough to handle this dog. I was just wondering if the dog agression is managable on this dog or will I most likely have a redzone case
Asked by Josh Silver - Wed Aug 19 04:10:05 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Amongst any well bred Tosa you are bound to see dog aggression. They were bred for dog fighting, so the drive and nature is and WILL be present. Any aggression will be "controllable"...but only if you are able to reinforce it If you feel you are ready to take on such breed, by all means, go for it! Just understand the work you will be going through beforehand :)

Question abou ta new puppy and my dogs agression towards her?
Q. My boyfriend and I just adopted a 4 month old puppy and my current 5 year old Blue Heeler isn't taking much of a liking to her yet. Everytime the puppy gets near her she growls and rolls up her lip. My 4 year old is an attention whore so I'm sure this is a big part. How can I stop her aggression towards the puppy?
Asked by Kurenaii - Sat Apr 5 19:01:56 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. That's not necessarily aggression. IT is merely a mature older dog telling a bratty, puppy with no manners to "back off." Totally normal but I would ALWAYS supervise the two because you never know when bratty youngster will step over the line and get in REAL trouble. Since puppy is new this will probably go on for a bit longer but soon enough your heeler will accept puppy and chill and puppy will stop being so rude. However, even though it is normal...since they live in YOUR house you have a right to direct play and say what is and is not appropriate. You can crate puppy to give it some time to chill. You also should be sure that the older dog has a place to escape and get away from hyper puppy when she gets fed up.

What can I do about this agression issue?
Q. Today my dog met another dog at the dog park. They are about the same age and same breed, both unaltered. The other dog growled and started to attack my dog. My dog did not understand and thought he was playing so at first he tried to play with him, kept following him around and trying to play but everytime he got close the other dog would attack. I think my dog started to understand that he was not playing but instead of leaving him alone he started to fight back, bare his teeth and such. Neither dog has ever shown aggression before. Can anything be done about these boys?

A. Getting them fixed would be a good start. They are probably trying to show their dominance. Fixing them would do the trick. Good luck

Is this a sign of dog food agression?
Q. I'm worried about my beagle. While he has something in his mouth, say a bone, and I try to pet him, he growls at me. He also backs away when I try to approach him. I don't think that he'll actually try and bite me, but I don't want to risk it. I've raised him ever since he was a little puppy. Is this a sign? He let's our other dog eat out of his bowl though so is that maybe a sign that he doesn't have it?

Maybe you are on to something there. I would be afraid of the harmone therapy for men because it would likely cause feminization physically as well. Then you would have an angry, emotional guy with erectile dysfunction and sore breasts..
